(A) Eligibility of Membership:

Kolkata Assamese Cultural Association, (KACA) Any person, without any restriction of caste and creed, and above the age of 18 years, will be eligible to become a member of the association. He or she shall have to be introduced to the executive committee/Association by a member of the Association and must apply to the Association in the prescribed form. Membership to the Association will be granted to eligible applicants after receipt of membership fees as per type of membership described here in after:

(B) Membership Category and Fees:

(a) Annual Member: Any eligible person who apply in prescribed membership application form along with annual subscription of Rs.500 shall be designated as Annual Member and this membership will be valid for three financial years within which the fees are paid.

(b) Life Member: Any eligible person who applies in prescribed membership application form along with membership fees of Rs.3000 shall be designated as a Life Member. Membership will be valid for lifetime from the date of application/ receipt of the membership fees.

(c) Concessional Life Membership: Rs.1,000 for Concessional Life Membership fees for spouse and children of existing Life Member.

(d) Patron: Any eligible person who apply in prescribed membership application form along with membership fees of Rs.20,000 shall be designated as a Life Member. Membership will be valid for lifetime from the date of application.

Payment of Membership Fees: Please pay the membership fees in favour of “Kolkata Assamese Cultural Association, Kolkata”, SB Account No: 0389010331319, Punjab National Bank, Branch – Old Court House and IFSC Code: PUNB0038920.

(C) Membership Benefits: By becoming a member of KACA:-

(a) You will be a part of the organisation to able to participate in various socio-cultural activities conducted by KACA.

(b)You will be contributing to the collective bargaining strength for welfare of the Assamese Community residing at Kolkata.

(D) Application Procedure:

(i) OPTION 1: Kindly download and fill-up the membership application form and submit with requisite membership fees, a passport size photo and a self-certified copy of your identity proof.

(a) Handover the filled in membership application form to the authorized person or

(b) Email the scanned copy of duly filled membership form to kaca2008wb@gmail.com or

(c) Send by post to “Kolkata Assamese Cultural Association, Shankar Road, LA Block, Sector III, Bidhannagar, Kolkata 700106.” Please mention “Membership Application Form” in the header of the envelope. Link to Download Membership Application Form:-

(ii) OPTION 2: Kindly fill and submit the application form online and send a scanned copy of self-certified Identity proof and photograph by e-mail to kaca2008wb@gmail.com.
